‘Expect delays’: Burlington warns of Niagara-bound Skyway Bridge lane closures this weekend

Drivers should expect delays this weekend as two lanes of the Niagara-bound QEW on the Burlington Skyway Bridge will be closed.

The Ministry of Transportation says the lanes will be blocked off between 10 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday. All ramps from the Eastport Drive Collector to the bridge will also be closed.

The other two Niagara-bound lanes on the bridge will remain open, as well as the Northshore Boulevard Interchange.

Drivers can detour using Eastport Drive Collector Lanes and Eastport Drive.

The ministry says their work is weather-dependent and could be delayed or cancelled.
