What began in Glendale, Arizona in March 2023 finished in Vancouver last night as Taylor Swift ended her worldwide ‘Eras Tour’.

Sixty thousand shimmering BC place fans cheered with joy and wiped their tears during the pop singer’s final performance.

They also sang a spontaneous “Happy Birthday” to the Sagittarian who turns 35 on Dec. 13.

Swift thanked Vancouver for hosting the tour’s final three shows, and for being part of the “most thrilling chapter” of her life.

She also gave credit to her band, crew, back-up singers and dancers and bid adieu to it all with a giant group hug — and visible tears.

The concert tour — which crossed five continents — took in an estimated $2 billion U.S. over 149 performances.

What’s next for the global superstar other than a long nap is pure speculation, though a documentary of the tour is anticipated.
