Elon Musk invites conspiracy theorist Alex Jones back onto ‘X’ after five-year ban

After being permanently banned from Twitter AKA “X” for abusive behaviour, the conspiracy theorist who falsely claimed the Sandy Hook massacre of children was a hoax, Infowars host Alex Jones, has been reinstated on the social media platform.

After he was reinstated yesterday, Musk and Jones launched a livestream chat that featured some controversial people, including accused rapist Andrew Tate and right-wing GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

The move poses new uncertainty for advertisers who have fled the platform over concerns about hate speech alongside their ads.
