Electricity cut off at east-end Hamilton apartments for nearly 2 weeks amid extreme cold

This recent winter deep freeze in Hamilton has been brutal for a group of people in the city, if not potentially deadly.
The electricity was cut off to their home almost two weeks ago.
We’re told there are eleven people who live in the building.
They’ve been left with no lights, no heat and nothing to cook on at this bitterly cold time of year.
The area’s city counsellor Tammy Hwang says the city’s social services may be trying to help the people in the house, but the fire department is handling that.
