Halton police have identified the victim of a homicide who was found dead in a burned vehicle in Burlington late last month.
Officers responded to the area of 5463 Dundas St. around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 27 for reports of a vehicle fire.
After the blaze was extinguished, emergency crews found a body inside of the vehicle.
Police have identified the victim from the suspicious vehicle fire in Burlington on Nov 27 as 31-year-old Jerwin Belmonte. If you have any information that may assist investigators please call the Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.

Investigators have now identified the victim as Jerwin Belmonte, 31, of Edmonton.
Police say Belmonte recently moved to Toronto and was last seen alive in the city on Nov. 26 near Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. East.
Anyone who may have had contact with Belmonte on or prior to Nov. 26, or has information about his murder, is asked to contact the homicide tip line at 905 825 4776.
