Thousands came out to the annual Easter egg hunt at Mountsberg on Saturday afternoon.

Every child was awarded a prize after finding their own personal egg.

Children also got a chance to meet the new arrivals at the Cameron Barnyard.

Kids also got a lesson on how sap from the conservation area’s 600 trees gets turned into sweet maple syrup.

Over 5,000 people are expected to visit the Mountsberg conservation this weekend.

The festivities continue Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
