A Tim Hortons restaurant in Dunnville, Ont., has once again sold the most amount of Smile Cookies in Canada for the sixth year in a row.

Their team hand-decorated and sold almost 52,000 Smile Cookies, which is nearly nine cookies for every resident in the community that has a population of about 6,000 people.

Franchisees Ryan DiTommaso and Ashleigh MacLeod say the proceeds from the sales of Smile Cookies at their location are being donated to the Dunnville Hospital and Healthcare Foundation for a new computerized tomography (CT) scanner.

“The town really rallies around that. At some point, everybody is going to use the hospital and we just think that’s a great cause and a great place for the money to go,” DiTommaso said in an interview with CHCH News.
