Hamilton police say residents were evacuated from a Dundas home early Friday morning as a deck fire spread throughout the house.

At least 10 fire units responded around 3:30 a.m. to the structure fire on Central Park Ave.

No one was seriously injured as a result of the fire.

An estimated cost of damage has not been determined yet.

Police say the Ontario Fire Marshal has been contacted.
