Kate delivers an heir

(Breaking/Updated) The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a boy. The 8 lb, 6 oz infant was born at 11:24 am Hamilton time.

Kate and Prince William arrived at a private wing of St Mary’s Hospital in London approximately ten hours earlier.

The child is third in line to the throne, after his grandfather Prince Charles, and his father Prince William, who remained at Kate’s bedside during the labour.

In a tweet from Clarence House, the Royal couple are reported to be doing well.
