Driver seriously injured after being ejected from vehicle in Burlington

One person has been taken to hospital in serious condition after a vehicle rolled over on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Burlington.

It happened just after 1 a.m. Monday in the Fort Erie-bound lanes of the QEW, at North Shore Boulevard.

Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the live lanes of traffic.

They were rushed to hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.

Police say speed and alcohol may be factors in the collision.
