A man’s facing careless driving charges after a road worker was hit by a vehicle in Glanbrook.

The crash happened just before noon yesterday on Upper James between Dickenson and Twenty Rds. Hamilton Police say the driver charged ignored other vehicles in the area in an attempt to pass the construction.

The worker is in serious condition, but is expected to make a full recovery.
