Driver arrested after allegedly pointing handgun at others on QEW
Ontario provincial police say they have arrested a driver that was pointing a handgun at other drivers on the QEW Sunday afternoon.
Officers say they responded to reports that a driver was pointing a weapon at other drivers at around 4 p.m. on the QEW Niagara bound.
The driver was stopped in the QEW/Glendale area, and taken into custody.
Police say that an imitation handgun was seized and have charged the driver.
OPP posted on X just after 7 p.m. Sunday that they are looking for any witnesses to contact police.
