Doug Ford to announce completion of West Harbour GO construction

CHCH News has learned the Ford government is expected to announce on April 9 that construction at Hamilton’s West Harbour GO Station is finally complete.

The construction added a new section of track on the Lakeshore West line, which will allow trains going to and from Niagara to stop at West Harbour.

The province says the addition will shorten the commute for people coming from Niagara by up to ten minutes each way, but commute times from Hamilton to Toronto will remain the same.
