Doors open for Loewith Family Farm holiday tradition

A yearly tradition just after Christmas, the Loewith Farm opens its doors to the public.

Dairy farmers from across our region were on hand to give tours and educate more than 1,000 agriculture enthusiasts who stopped by this eye-opening experience.

Ben Loewith now runs the Loewith Family Farm, which was once managed by his grandfather, Joe, who fled Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia over 70 years ago.

Grandpa Joe claimed prior farming experience to Canadian immigration officials, and, long story short, the Loewith Family Farm has since become one of the most well-known dairy farms in Canada.
