The streets of Los Angeles turned Dodger blue Monday as the city celebrated its World Series champions.

Back at home Toronto Blue Jays fans are recovering from Saturday’s loss, one that stretched into the eleventh inning with a final score of 5-4.

While the Jays didn’t clinch the title, this year’s post-season showed how united Canadians were.

Coming up from the bottom of the division the Jays faced the league’s defending champions this post-season and they gave them a run for their money.

Even though the blue birds fell sort, their fans will remember this series as one of the team’s most memorable.

On Sunday the MLB announced the winners of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award and among them is the Blue Jays first baseman Ty France.

The Gold Glove is given to players in each position who demonstrate excellent fielding performances throughout the season.

The Jays will be back in the field for spring training in five months.
