Disney star Cameron Boyce died of epilepsy, coroner says

An autopsy has revealed Disney actor Cameron Boyce died unexpectedly from epilepsy.

According to The Associated Press, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office released a report Tuesday that states the star was found unresponsive at home on July 6. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Boyce’s family had previously said he died due to an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated.

The 20-year-old’s family said he was one of the world’s brightest lights.

Disney Channel cancelled the red-carpet premiere of his film “Descendants 3” after Boyce’s death.
