The war continues to ravage the Middle East, and this morning, residents of Beirut woke up to a thick haze in the air following a night of aerial bombardments from Israel.

Lebanon’s health ministry reports at least 40 deaths and 53 injuries after a series of strikes near the eastern city of Baalbek on Wednesday. Similar attacks occurred just last night across the southern suburbs of Beirut.
