Deadly weekend on the roads

The OPP say a 54-year-old woman is dead, and three others are in hospital after a crash in Oakville last night. It happened on the QEW Toronto-bound lanes, near Ford Drive around 8 o’clock. The crash involved at least four vehicles and police believe it was caused by metal debris on the highway. They’re trying to figure out where the metal came from.
There was another accident last night, this time in Aurora. Police have identified the motorcyclist who died in that crash as 30-year-old Kosma Bakier of Mississauga. He was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, after his motorbike crashed into an ambulance on Highway 404 near Wellington Road. He later died of his injuries
And police are looking for witnesses after a crash in Burlington that killed three people Saturday night. it happened at the corner of Dundas Street and Eaglesfield Drive just after six. Two people on a motorcycle collided with an SUV. They and the suv’s driver were killed. The two people on the bike have been identified by friends and family on social media, as 43-year-old Mitch Crate of Waterdown, and Arlette Shamoun. The man driving the SUV has not been identified.
