A fingerprint expert testified at the Tim Bosma murder trial today. It’s day two of a process that may take four months.

He showed the court the prints of one of the accused, Dellen Millard and he showed prints from inside Tim Bosma’s truck that match Dellen Millard’s fingerprints.

Police eventually found Tim Bosma’s truck at Dellen Millard’s mother’s house. The seats had been ripped out but there was still evidence, including blood DNA, and fingerprints. An expert today said it was Dellen Millard’s right thumb that touched the rear view mirror, as if to adjust it.

The fingerprint expert testified that fingerprints are the most reliable way to identify someone, even more reliable than DNA.
