A cyclist was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a collision on Hamilton Mountain early Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 4 a.m. for reports of a crash involving a 29-year-old cyclist and a motor vehicle on Airport Rd.

Hamilton police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.

The road was closed from Upper James St. to Miles Rd., but has since reopened.
