Crime Stoppers, Hamilton police and HOPA Ports launch crime prevention campaign

Crime Stoppers of Hamilton, Hamilton police and HOPA Ports have partnered to launch a new crime prevention awareness campaign.

The project titled “Crime Doesn’t Anchor Here” is an initiative designed to enhance crime prevention efforts across port lands in Hamilton.

As part of a broader, city-wide effort led by Crime Stoppers of Hamilton, the campaign aims to build on the successful “Crime Doesn’t Fly Here” initiative launched with the Hamilton Airport.

The new port-based campaign includes awareness training, employee and partner engagement, new signage, posters across port properties and public-facing messages in an effort to help residents identify and report suspicious criminal activity.
