Crash on Hwy. 20 sends one to hospital

A man has been taken to hospital following a crash, in the Tapleytown Road and Highway 20 area of Hamilton, that’s east of Upper Centennial Parkway. Early reports say a single vehicle went off the road and into a 15 foot ditch. The driver, believed to be in his 60’s, was trapped inside his vehicle. The crash happened around 2:30 Monday afternoon. Police closed Regional Road 20, between Woodburn Road and Fifth Road East to investigate.
