Crash closes Hwy 403 in Brantford

A crash closed Eastbound lanes on the 403 in Brantford this morning.

The truck driver was traveling in the west bound lanes when he apparently lost control on ice and ended up crossing over the centre median, into the east bound lanes and up an embankment before ending up on its side. The driver was taken to hospital but is expected to be okay.

The truck was carrying pet food.
