Councillors react to new Ford allegations

The latest twist in the Rob Ford saga has many wondering about his political future — in both the short and long term.

Everyone that spoke today supports the decision that Rob Ford has made. Both allies and opposnents alike are in favour of the mayor getting help. But when he comes back to the office, Ford will need help if he wants to keep his job.

Outside of his Etobicoke home is supposedly the last time we see or hear from mayor Rob ford for at least a month. Now it is up to those around him to speak on his behalf.

“Rob was very emotional. He let people down.”  As an emotional Doug Ford came to grips with his brothers latest discretion, he affirmed his political support.
