Costs of body cameras outweighs the benefits says Hamilton police chief

Hamilton police Chief Eric Girt is against his officers wearing body-worn cameras.

He told the police services board today that from his department’s study of other jurisdictions, the costs of the cameras far outweigh the benefits.
