Consumer product recall on cellular shades due to choking hazard

The Government of Canada has issued a health safety recall on several Springs Window Fashions cellular shades due to a possible choking hazard.

Anyone with a Bali Cellular Shade model number BC23, Cellular Shade model number SC19, Graber Cellular Shade model number GC23 or a Signature Series Cellular Shade model number SSC23 is instructed to immediately stop using the product and contact the company if the end caps on the bottom rail are not securely glued.

As of May 19, Springs Window Fashions have received no reports of incident or injury in Canada.

Health Canada reminds consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form.
