Conservative Party looking into racist email sent to Patrick Brown campaign

The Conservative Party of Canada is investigating following a complaint from Patrick Brown’s campaign regarding a racist email advocating for Adolf Hitler and Nazism.
Conservative MP Michelle Rempel Garner, co-chair of Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown’s campaign for the Conservative leadership, tweeted the text of the email Wednesday.
The text expresses support for Hitler and Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre, one of Brown’s rivals in the leadership campaign. The sender also makes racist comments about multiple ethnic groups.

Rempel Garner said the Brown campaign received the message soon after the campaign delivered an email denouncing the racist “white replacement” conspiracy theory.
The message came from an active Conservative Party member, she confirmed.
The Conservative Party said in a tweet it will investigate the complaint in accordance with the Membership Revocation By-Law.
