Cogeco says outage near Welland, Port Colborne due to ‘suspected vandalism’

Cogeco says a service disruption in Welland, Port Colborne and Sherkston areas was caused by a fibre cut, which it believes was an act of vandalism.

In a post on social media, Cogeco says it is now working to restore services in the area.

We are currently addressing a service interruption in the Welland, Port Colborne, and Sherkston areas, caused by a fibre cut (suspected vandalism). Our technicians are investigating working to restore services as quickly as possible.
