City of Hamilton waving late penalties & interest if you are unable to pay your property taxes

For the first time ever, Hamilton city councillors and staff sat at their computers in their own homes for a virtual meeting. At the top of the agenda was the property tax assistance program, that will waive late penalties and interest on upcoming installments, should some not have the means to pay.
