City of Hamilton outdoor pools open just in time for Canada Day

As school ends this week, the City of Hamilton is gearing up for a summer of outdoor programming and is launching its plans with all outdoor public pools opening as of Friday.

All 10 of the city’s outdoor pools are now open for daily drop-in programs up until September 4.

The five city-run wading pools will be open from next Tuesday until August 25, with the exception of Dundas Driving Park’s wading pool that will remain open until September 4.

In addition to outdoor pool programming, the city will also be kicking off its Supie programming next Tuesday until August 25. Supie offers supervised drop-in recreation activities for children across all ages at 18 neighbourhood parks Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
