The City of Hamilton is offering tenants of a downtown apartment building with a COVID-19 outbreak a chance to get a vaccine on Wednesday.

The outbreak at The Village on Queen St. was reported to be at 69 cases as of Tuesday.

Tenants have been given an hour-long window to attend the mass vaccination clinic at FirstOntario Centre and will be able to get a vaccine without an appointment between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

It’s one of three apartment buildings in the city that currently have a COVID-19 outbreak.

The other two are Wellington Place, which is at 43 cases, and Rebecca Towers, with 110 cases.
