Tuesday marked 71 years since the last time a nuclear weapon was used in war. First Hiroshima and then Nagasaki, killing at least 129, 000 people.
A vigil was held at the Peace Pole behind Hamilton City Hall to remember that day. As Elizabeth Hall reports, the vigil was held as a reminder of the weapon’s awful power.
