Woman identified in No Frills child assault case

UPDATE: Halton police have identified the woman responsible for the assault at the No Frills grocery store in Oakville.
According to a news release, she is a 77-year-old woman with diminished capabilities. She has been cautioned for the incident that took place yesterday.
A woman was shopping with her four children at the No Frills grocery store on Cross Ave. when the suspect slapped her eight-year-old daughter. The mother confronted the woman who promptly took off on foot.
Police would like to thank the public and media with their assistance in identifying the woman.
