CHCH Evening News returns to two-anchor format with Taz Boga and Matt Ingram

CHCH-TV is proud to announce the return of a two-anchor team to its Evening News.

Beginning Sept. 2, anchors Taz Boga and Matt Ingram will share the desk, bringing viewers trusted reporting, balanced storytelling, and the familiar warmth viewers have come to expect.

Taz has been with CHCH for more than 15 years, while Matt has been with us for six and has been the face of the Evening News for the past 17 months. Both have proven their abilities in guiding viewers through major local, national, and international stories with professionalism and authority.

“I’m so excited to return to the anchor desk and reconnect with our viewers,” Taz said. “CHCH has always been home for me, and I look forward to working alongside Matt again to deliver the stories that matter most to our community.”

The two-anchor format has long been a signature of CHCH’s Evening News, and its return reflects the station’s ongoing commitment to strong journalism and a dynamic on-air presence.

CHCH Evening News airs daily at 6 and 11 p.m., providing viewers across Hamilton, Halton, Niagara, Brant, and beyond with in-depth local coverage, breaking news, and insightful reporting.
