Changes to Queen Street North

A traffic note for drivers in north Hamilton.

The portion of Queen Street North between Barton and Stuart Streets, will be permanently converted to two way traffic.

The change goes into effect next Monday.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in the area, and to be aware of new signs and pavement markings indicating the flow of traffic.

This will be the fourth one-way to two-way conversion in downtown Hamilton since 2010. The city will review its one-way street network early next year.
