Commissioner Ambrosie revealing that the CFL has entered into serious discussions with the XFL about the possibility of forming a partnership. The XFL is a league that closed its doors last spring due to the pandemic and serious cash-flow issues. The defunct outfit was purchased from founder Vince McMahon to actor and one-time professional wrestler Dwayne Johnson, business partner Dany Garcia and investment firm RedBird Capital for $15 million dollars. Bubba O’Neil talked with CFL insider Justin Dunk about the potential partnership.
