Car slams in to swimming pool

Halton police are trying to determine if a medical condition caused an overnight crash in Milton.

Police and paramedics were called to Derry Road near Thompson Road about 2:30 this morning after a car left Derry, crashed through a fence and struck an above-ground swimming pool.

The driver was trapped until the passenger in the car was able to get help to free the man. Both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
