Cannon St fire update

Hamilton police say the man who died in the Cannon Street house fire last week died from smoke inhalation and injuries caused by the fire.

The house on Cannon Street burst into flames last Wednesday. A 24-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and later died. Monday, police said that the cause of death was directly related to the fire, and no foul play is suspected. The Ontario Fire Marshal is still investigating the cause of the blaze.
