The federal government has processed one million claims for employment insurance, just under half of the claims they have received so far.

Starting tomorrow, Canadians who are out of work and not getting paid because of COVID-19 can apply for emergency cash.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced today that the government will start distributing the $2,000 for those who apply within 3 to 5 days.
