The American who leaked classified documents about his government’s surveillance of data and telephone communications revealed his name Monday.

Edward Snowden, a former contractor with the National Security Agency, is hiding out in Hong Kong because he fears retribution from U.S. spy agencies. Also, Monday, we’ve learned that Canada has a similar system of gathering data from both citizens and foreigners.
