Canadian actors, musicians, an Olympic athlete and a former justice of the Supreme Court of Canada were ushered into Canada’s Walk of Fame on Saturday.

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Reynolds as well as Olympic hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser and Supreme Court justice Louise Arbour were among those inducted.

The Band also got a star as did blind blues-rock guitarist Jeff Healey who died in 2008.

Canada’s Walk of Fame celebrates Canadians who have achieved excellence in a variety of areas.

This year’s list was selected from more than 50,000 nominees.

The inductees will be celebrated at an awards show on December 19.
