Canada’s new Governor General will conduct her first official Ontario meetings today and tomorrow.

Louise Arbour will meet with provincial officials, including Lieutenant Governor of Ontario Edith Dumont and Ontario Premier Doug Ford, as well as provincial Indigenous leaders.

Her visits will primarily take place at Queen’s Park and in Toronto.

Arbour took over the position in June after predecessor Mary Simon finished her term.
