The Canadian government has decided to drop vaccination requirements for people entering the country.

Two senior government sources say Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has agreed to let a cabinet order requiring mandatory COVID-19 vaccination to enter Canada expire. The order is set to expire on Sept. 30.

Other sources have said the ArriveCan app will no longer be mandatory as well.

The federal government is still deciding if a mask will continue to be required for passengers on trains and airplanes.

Random COVID-19 testing will also come to an end at airports on Sept. 30.
