The tallest teen in the world is in Niagara this week playing basketball against some of the best young players in the country.

Towering well over 7 feet tall, 16-year-old Olivier Rioux says basketball is his passion, and he hopes to play in the NBA one day.

The 7’6″ and a half teen is suiting up for the Quebec under 18 basketball team at the Canada Summer Games in Niagara.

Rioux picked up his first basketball when he was five years old watching his older brother play and now he’s getting attention from scouts.

The world’s tallest teen and his team will be back on the hardcourt tomorrow at Niagara College.
