Canada stands ‘firmly’ with Greenland, rejects tariffs over Danish territory: Carney

The prime minister is taking a firm stand with Greenland and Denmark, and against economic coercion.

Mark Carney telling the World Economic Forum Tuesday that he strongly opposes the American use of tariffs to try and compel the world to give the U.S. Greenland.

Carney’s address outlines a new vision for Canadian foreign policy and comes as U.S. President Donald Trump releases a pair of images depicting America in control of Canada, Greenland and Venezuela.
