Calgary Police say they’ve finished their search of a home owned by a couple who have been missing along with their five-year old grandson almost two-weeks.

Police say they’ve completed their search for evidence in Alvin and Kathryn Liknes’ home. The couple and their Grandson, Nathan O’Brien have been missing since June 29th.

Police say they’ll continue to search a northwest Calgary landfill and a property in Airdrie, Alberta, belonging to 54-year-old Douglas Garland, who has been named a person of interest in the case.

Police are investigating a dispute between Alvin Liknes and Garland, involving a patent dispute that sources say led to “bad blood.”
