Amber Alert issued in Calgary for 5 year-old girl

Calgary police have issued an amber alert for a five-year-old girl they believe has been abducted, after her mother was found dead in their home.

They’ve issued the amber alert for Taliyah Leigh Marsman. They describe her as mixed race, with brown eyes, curly brown hair and a slim build. A vehicle thought to be involved in her abduction has been recovered.

Police were first called to the home by family members who had been unable to reach Marsman’s mother. Her death is considered suspicious.
