Burlington man charged for indecent act in Milton, police search for more victims

Halton police charged a man last Friday following an indecent act towards a woman in March, and believe there may be more victims.
Officers say a man had approached a woman at a Shoppers Drug Mart at 6951 Derry Road on March 23, at around 11:30 p.m.
They say the man had asked her about a product in the store, while also showing her an image of the product on his phone.
Police say the man then changed the image on the screen to show a digital pornographic image of a man committing an indecent act while she was still looking at the phone.
Detectives arrested 38-year-old Alvin Wong of Burlington on May 23, and charged him with one count of indecent act.
Wong was released on an undertaking with a future court date in Milton.
Investigators think Wong may have committed similar acts and believe there may be more victims.
Anyone with information or knows someone who has been victimized by Wong is asked to contact police at 905-825-4777 ext. 2416.
