Burlington man involved in Hamilton home invasion arrested

A wanted man involved in a west mountain home invasion last month has been arrested.

28-year-old Joshua Benoit was found inside a Burlington hotel room Wednesday morning. With the help of Halton police, Benoit was arrested without incident and brought back to Hamilton. He has been charged with robbery, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.

On January 21 around 9 a.m, three people entered a home in the area of Garth and West 5th. The homeowner was struck over the head with a weapon and pepper sprayed. Two out of the three suspects were arrested.
