Burlington crash sends four to hospital

Wet weather and slippery roads may be to blame for a crash on the QEW Wednesday night.

An SUV and minivan collided just before 10 p.m. in the Niagara-bound lanes, just beyond the split to Highway 403.

The SUV rolled several times, trapping one woman inside and throwing another person from the vehicle.

Both were taken to hospital. Two children in the back seat of the SUV were also taken to hospital, but were not seriously injured.
